Sue Cleaver admitted she was glad to be out of I'm A Celebrity as she spoke out following her exit.
The Coronation Street star – who plays Eileen Grimshaw on the ITV soap – was thrilled to be voted out of the jungle show yesterday evening, as she admitted it was a "real slog" in there.
She explained how difficult and disorientating it was for her that she and her campmates didn't know what time of day it was as they tried to work it out from the sun.
A fan of the show, Sue said she used to be the biggest armchair critic – but now realises how tough the show is.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, she said: "You are literally looking at the sun and trying to figure out what time of day it is and where the sun is in the sky, you’ve lost all track of time, you’re sleep deprived, you don’t know what time you’re going to bed, you don’t know what time you’re getting up, so it’s very disorientating and I don’t think you realise that when you watch the show."
She added it was a "really hard slog" for her. "I mean, I’ve watched the show from the beginning, I’ve been the best armchair critic there could be but until you’re actually in there it’s hard, it’s a really hard slog," she shared.
As the news came in, there were no tears from Sue as she said her goodbyes before racing out of the camp.
Asked if it was her time to go, she told hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly: "Yeah absolutely, I had enough. It's the anxiety, the not knowing, having no control over your life and that’s weird, so weird. I loved being in that camp, I loved it, I really did. I've loved all of that. I have had the ride of my life, I really have. I will never forget it and I am so glad it ended there."
Ahead of her joining the show, Sue admitted she was concerned what viewers would think of her as a person, as she isn't anything like her Coronation Street character Eileen Grimshaw.
"This is the scariest part for me," she said, "I am a very private person and I am putting myself out there, which is what I am most nervous about. I do keep my life private and I am very happy with my home life. Viewers are going to see a different person to the person they think I am! I am very different. That can be worrying."
She added: "They might decide they don’t like me as much as Eileen!"
