Viewers were angered moments into the first episode of I'm A Celebrity by the first comment Chris Moyles made on the show.
Fans of the ITV show took to social media to vent about what was said during the brief meet and greet as the brand new series started last night. The Radio X presenter introduced himself to his fellow campmates by saying he was the "best broadcaster of my generation".
And immediately, viewers took to Twitter to have their say. One wrote: " I am Chris Moyles and I am the greatest broadcaster of my generation…’ Spelt Simon Jordan wrong pal. How dare he insult Simon like that. Fuming now."
While another added: " Did Chris Moyles really just introduce himself as the greatest broadcaster of his generation? Bit full of himself! Hope he was joking lol." While another penned: "Chris Moyles is as modest as ever, I see."
And one commented: "Forgot how much Chris Moyles is full of himself #ImACeleb." The brand new series aired last night and showcased 10 celebrities who were gearing up to head into the outback.
This is the first time since 2019 that celebs have headed to Australia as the past two years were shot at Gwrych Castle in North Wales due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Among the line-up is singer, Boy George and Love Island star Olivia Attwood, who were voted to become Jungle VIPs, however, it was later revealed that VIP meant “Very Isolated People” and not "Very Important Person".
