I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly couldn't help but make a cheeky dig at Prime Minister Rishi Sunak during the episode that aired on Wednesday, November 9. The swipe came as former health secretary Matt Hancock controversially entered the camp.
Discussing the MP, who lost the Tory whip for signing up to the show, host Ant said: "I'm not sure how Matt’s going to cope in camp though, surrounded by people who don’t know what they’re doing, making it up as they go along and just trying to get by day to day.
The hosts then chimed: "Evening Prime Minister," as Dec added: "You know how that feels don't you!" He then added: "By the way, who am I talking to there, is it still Rishi?" Ant replied: "I think so but they'll probably due a new one before Christmas."

Following the entry of Matt Hancock, Ant and Dec opened the show by taking a swipe at Westminster. They said: "Hello! Good evening, good morning and welcome to Australia on a day of massive news. Here are the headlines: Comedian Seann Walsh and former health secretary Matt Hancock have entered the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
"Eyewitnesses claim Walsh and Hancock have been spotted taking part in the Bushtucker Trial. And in breaking news, Westminster sources confirm Sir Keir Starmer has just downloaded the I’m A Celebrity app."
Last year the presenting duo famously poked fun at former Prime Minister Boris Johnson live from Gwrych Castle over his partygate scandal. I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! continues at 9pm on ITV. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
