Monday night's instalment of I'm A Celebrity provided viewers with the first sign of tension in camp as Boy George took issue with Charlene White's culinary skills.
Karma Chameleon star George, along with Chris Moyles, Scarlette Douglas and the now-departed Olivia Attwood joined up with the rest of the celebrities after winning eight out of ten stars for the evening's meal.
With food in the form of mud crabs provided to camp as a result, Loose Women star Charlene quickly volunteered to cook - much to singer George's dismay.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph soon afterwards, he affirmed: "I'm a good cook."
He added: "When someone’s already decided they’re in charge of the kitchen, it’s difficult to have your say."
Later in the evening, meanwhile, he brandished the meal 'horrible' and claimed Charlene's mushrooms 'weren't cooked properly'.
Still annoyed, he then told Chris he nearly 'felt sick' before calling out a kitchen 'hierarchy'.
"I feel like there’s a bit of hierarchy in the kitchen with Mike [Tindall] and Charlene, there’s this patriarchy.
"I don’t want to be told what to do by someone, quite a bossy boots."
Elsewhere on Monday, a statement released on behalf of Olivia via Instagram claimed the former Love Islander was forced to leave the jungle for reasons 'beyond her control'.
It added the truth behind her exit would be explained 'in due course'.
The statement read: "To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement, she dreamed of doing IAC for years, and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).
"However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short. Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as it always has."
It continued: "You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year."
