MP Matt Hancock made a subtle dig at fellow campmate Owen Warner after the Hollyoaks star only managed to secure one star during the gruesome Savage Sorting Office Bushtucker trial.
The former health secretary couldn't hold his tongue after downcast soap star Owen arrived back to camp after failing to nab seven stars for his fellow jungle mates.
Radio star Chris and co-star Owen both took on the horrendous Bushtucker Trial, but they were unsuccessful.
As the pair arrived at the Bushtucker Trial clearing, Ant explained: "This is The Savage Sorting Office. You two need to put a shift in and sort through the mail to find the stars.
"One of you will be suspended from the crane in this harness and need to rummage around through the post and find the stars. When you find a star you need to get it in the giant postbox there to win it.
"The other celebrity will be operating the crane, but they will be blindfolded and they will receive electric shocks every 30 seconds. There are six stars to find."
To which Dec added: "You’ve got 90 seconds per postal cart. If the star’s not in the postal box in that time then you lose that star. This is a Bushtucker Trial so there will be some surprises along the way."
Sadly for Owen, he only managed to secure one star - something which MP Matt Hancock made clear he wasn't impressed with.
Upon Chris and Owen's arrival back to camp, the Hollyoaks star told his fellow campmates 'not to get excited' as he explained the difficult task.
While the young actor was comforted by Jill Scott and Mike Tindall, MP Matt didn't share much reassurance according to eagle-eyed viewers, while other labelled him 'two-faced'.
Moments later, I'm A Celebrity viewers were left livid when Matt insinuated that he was disappointed in Owen behind his back.
Speaking to the cameras, the politician said: "Pretty gutted about a one star meal to tell you the truth.
"I mean, we've been lucky in getting full stars for the last few days - but we'll make the most of it. It will be fine. But, ugh, I'm gutted," he added.
Soon after his confession, viewers flocked to Twitter to slam MP Matt.
"Matt being "pretty gutted" about the 1 star when he let kids starve #ImACeleb," one fumed.
"Gutted about one star” what about the free kids school meals you voted against matt? #imaceleb," another echoed.
"I'm sorry but Matt Hancock has no right to be gutted. He left thousands upon thousands of people go hungry in the UK. It's about time he's been given a taste of his own medicine," someone else complained.
While a fourth tweeted: "Matt Hancock is so two-faced!!!!! Don't talk about lovely Owen like that."
I'm A Celebrity continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV One.
