Fans of the new I’m a Celebrity... South Africa were sent into a frenzy as it was announced that a Coronation Street icon will be joining the jungle. After former Corrie star Helen Flanagan won hearts by smashing her first challenge on the I'm a Celeb 'all-stars' spin-off, the camp was told that one of her soap co-stars could also be on their way.
In Tuesday night's episode it was read out to the camp by Diversity dancer and TV presenter Jordan Banjo that three new arrivals were waiting to join them - and one of them is Corrie's Andy Whyment who plays Kirk Sutherland. The other two are musician Myleene Klass from the 2006 series and 2017 I'm A Celebrity winner Georgia Toffolo.
"Three new celebs are on their way. It's up to you to decide who will join you for dinner," Jordan read, and Rosie Webster actress Helen, 32, smiled when Andy's name was read out.

Andy, 42, who has played Kirk since 2000, joined former EastEnders actor Cliff Parisi as a late arrival in the 2019 series. He came runner-up to EastEnders favourite Jacqueline Jossa.
Andy also starred in Cracker,Heartbeat and Where the Heart Is before landing his first regular role in the The Royle Family as Darren Sinclair-Jones in 1999. Andy has also competed in Soapstar Superstar and Dancing on Ice.
Fans celebrated Andy's arrival with calls already for him to win. @GaryHew94267755 tweeted: "Omg #andywhyment is one of 3 late arrivals into #ImACeleb GET IN SON absolutely loved him in on 2019 season now he’s back where he truly belongs making us the people of GREAT BRITAIN laugh again ANDY WHYMENT 4 THE WIN NOW."
@grace_is_sugoi shouted: "ANDY YES HE HAS TO WIN." @xxncisaddictxx said: "I think they should choose Andy Whyment he was funny when he did the show first time."
