I'm A Celeb campmates fume that Matt Hancock is having a 'holiday' in jungle

I'm A Celebrity campmates were left fuming as Matt Hancock won a trip to have a barbecue on the beach - and even saying that he is "having a holiday" in the jungle. In tonight's episode, hosts Ant and Dec pulled out balls to see which three celebs would enjoy some surf 'n' turf on the beach after a day of activities which saw campmates take part in various grim activities to give them the best chance of winning.

Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver, Lioness Jill Scott and former Health Secretary Matt were chosen to receive the luxurious feast, despite the fact that Hollyoaks star Owen had the highest number of balls in the draw to jet off for the meal. All three campmates apologised to a hungry Owen before they left, as Sue said: “Oh Owen, I feel terrible.”

Owen replied: “Sue, have a sick day, don’t feel bad at all!” Owen then had to undergo another Bushtucker Trial alongside Babatúndé Aleshe and Scarlette Doublas to get meals for camp. But Matt heading off for the barbie seemed to have rubbed up some campmates the wrong way.

Speaking about him sleeping in the RV, sitting on his leader seat and getting to enjoy the barbecue, comedian Seann Walsh claimed that the MP is "having a holiday in here".

To which Boy George replied: "I'll just stop you right there, but he still has to be Matt Hancock." Hollyoaks star Owen Warner also said he was gutted not to win and wasn't happy that Matt had after only being here "five minutes".

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, he said: "I want to say that I’m not gutted, I want to be as happy as I can be for them, but I am 'devo’d'. Sue didn’t really fancy it, Matt’s been here five minutes, and Jill... Jill is a sweet, sweet soul, she’s an angel, I’m so happy for Jill."

And many fans took to Twitter to agree. One wrote: "I can’t believe I’m watching Matt Hancock have a holiday. I feel like I got voted for a bush tucker trial and it’s torture. #ImACeleb." Another wrote: " @MattHancock gets to go to the BBQ. Typical. It is like he’s on a holiday."

While one said: "So after others did the hard work that allowed him to gorge himself silly at a bbq Matt Hancock returned to the camp and asked if he could have some of the meagre rations the other camp mates were sharing...that really sums him and his party up!"

And one penned: "Owen did two trials in one day, while Matt had the luxury of a barbecue and still wanted some of their hard-won food, that was only supposed to be for the 8 of them left behind? Wow. #ImACeleb."
