Danny Dyer is reportedly going to be targeted by ITV bosses to star on the upcoming series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.
The actor, 44, is top of the reality show production team's list of talent that they'd like to appear on the show.
And in a bid to hook him in and they are willing to offer him "big money" when he leaves soap EastEnders, an insider has shared.
Danny is preparing to leave his job on EastEnders which has seen him playing Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter since 2013 in order to appear in a new Sky drama, and I'm A Celeb bosses believe his soap exit will be the perfect way for him to make an entrance into the jungle.
“Producers think Danny would be great on the series and is their number one target," a source told The Sun.
“They’re hoping he’ll be finished in time, they’d definitely be up for a big money offer.”
If Danny signs up to the much-loved show he will not have to slum it in cold and wet Wales but he will be jetted over to Australia as the show is returning Down Under.
For the past two years, the show has been forced to film in Wales due to the impact of Covid-19 and international travel restrictions.
Chatting on The One Show on Thursday night, presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnely shared that they are planning for the series to return to the jungle once again when the 22nd series airs towards the end of this year.
"Now then, I'm A Celebrity, let's go there, because Austrailia are reopening their borders from Monday, aren't they?" host Alex Jones asked the presenters during their chat.
"So is it the castle, or is it the jungle?"
"Well the plan is the jungle," Ant revealed on the BBC show.
