I'm A Celeb bosses 'editing out' Matt Hancock because he's 'boring' and his 'time is up'

I'm A Celebrity bosses have reportedly been "editing out" Matt Hancock from recent episodes because he has been branded "dull".

Jaws dropped when the disgraced former Health Secretary, 44, made his shocking entrance into camp, prompting an assortment of awkward reactions from his co-stars.

After initially being voted to do every trial, viewers quickly appeared to grow bored of him and decided to give the other stars a go.

And this week, Mr Hancock has had minimal airtime after I'm A Celeb was dubbed 'The Matt Show' by frustrated viewers and fellow campmates.

However, it appears to have been an intentional move by bosses to dramatically cut down his airtime.

"Since Matt stopped being voted to tackle Bushtucker Trials and the campmates had finished grilling him, he’s just not involved in as many conversations," a source told The Sun.

They added that the MP is "very quiet" and after stepping down as camp leader, he "blended into the background" and has "become part of the furniture".

"Which, of course, means he’s not providing many funny or interesting moments that make the cut," the insider continued.

It comes after recently evicted campmate Boy George suggested that there was a "lot of sly b****ing about Matt Hancock " that wasn't aired on TV.

He tweeted: "There was lot’s of sly bitching about @MattHancock but I told him to stand up for himself and par boil the potatoes to make chips! I was also the driving force behind the Ostritch omlette. Lol!"

A fan also tweeted at Boy George, writing: "What a fantastic attitude, some of the headlines have been vile about you , Chris and sue, apparently you are all bullies because you asked the MP awkward questions."

In response, Boy George commented: "I think @MattHancock will say otherwise and many will have Ostritch Egg on their faces. I treated him with absolute respect. I said what I needed to say and I made some fun digs but there was zero awkwardness. He appreciated my directness."
