The hotly anticipated I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! 2026 season has just hit our screens, and I don’t mean to brag, but we’ve guessed some of the stars setting foot in the jungle!
Ahead of Sunday’s premiere, NRL player-turned Bachelor star-turned BookTok sensation Luke Bateman was revealed to be the first celebrity to be donning an Akubra for the show’s 12th season.
“In some very exciting news, I’ll be trading the Australian outback for the African jungle on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!” he shared. “I’m very excited to see what Robert and Julia have cooked up for me. I’m sure there’ll be some delectable food items and some fear-instilling trials. I can’t wait. I’ll see you all in the jungle.”

Luke, who played for the Canberra Raiders from 2014 to 2018, starred on the eleventh season of The Bachelor in 2023 (AKA the final season before it was axed). His career skyrocketed last year when he went viral on BookTok and scored a controversial two-book deal, and he currently has over 400,000 followers on TikTok.
The 30-year-old was the first celebrity Channel 10 teased back in December as the “Rugby Romeo”, and he will be the third Bachelor on the show after Nick “The Honey Badger” Cummins and Matty J.
Who else is in the cast for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Australia 2026?
The cast list for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia has begun to trickle out slowly, with three mystery celebs yet to be announced.
Here’s the list of contestant clues:
Rugby Romeo- Reality Bridezilla
Hollywood Sitcom Star- Reality TV Bad Boy
International SupermodelSoap Royalty- A Master Chef
AFL A-ListerLogie-Winning ActorRadio QueenJungle PrincessStand-Up Star’90s Pop Star
Reality Bridezilla
Right off the bat, with the clue “A Reality Bridezilla”, my mind went straight to Married At First Sight. In fact, our sweet, sweet Robert made a hint that it would be someone from MAFS, with this golden sentence: “Let’s give a rebellious reality bride a fright at first sight”.
Some fans have speculated this incoming MAFS bride could be Jamie Marinos from 2025 or the infamous Cyrell Paule, who previously competed on Channel 10’s The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition. Either way, I’m sat.
Our guess: Cyrell Paule

Hollywood Sitcom Star
The promo for this Hollywood Sitcom Star teases that he will “go off with a big bang”, all but confirming it’s someone from The Big Bang Theory. Fans have already guessed that this will be either Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons or Kevin Sussman, who visited Australia in 2023 for Supanova Comic Con.
Our guess: Kevin Sussman

However, in a twist that’s not Big Bang Theory related, our Hollywood Sitcom Star was revealed to be The Brady Bunch‘s Barry Williams.

Reality TV Bad Boy
In this cheeky little clue, our I’m A Celeb narrator said that this reality TV bad boi will be “leaving the Island life for jungle strife”. Immediately, the clue ticked my Love Island, Survivor or Ex on the Beach censors.
However, for fans who are tuning in for the clues, some reckon it could be George Mladenov from Australian Survivor, Harry Jowsey from Too Hot To Handle, or Matt Zukowski from Love Island — who famously split from Tammy Hembrow last year.
Our guess: Matt Zukowski

International Supermodel
This snazzy package begins with our hosts dishing out a pretty ‘yuge clue: “An International Supermodel is strutting her way into Africa.” Alongside the occupation, the duo dropped that this incoming celeb also has connections to “rock ‘n’ roll royalty”.
With those two golden pieces of tea, fans are speculating that this incoming contestant could be Tyra Banks, who’s moved Down Under with her ice cream store SMiZE and DREAM. Others have guessed Kelly Osbourne due to her father, the late Ozzy Osbourne, and Rachel Hunter, an NZ model and actress who was previously married to Rod Stewart.
Our guess: Rachel Hunter
Drum roll, ploise…. and we were RIGHT! Before Sunday’s premiere, Network 10 was generous enough to reveal two more celebs, and that included our cover girl, Rachel Hunter!

Soap Royalty
For this clue package, Robert teases that this female Soap Star will have “snakes and creepy crawlies as her new neighbours”.
Given Channel 10’s (second) cancellation of Neighbours last year, it’s no surprise that someone from the soap would be signing up for a South African adventure — but who? Viewers have guessed Jackie Woodburne, Rebekah Elmaloglou or Bonnie Anderson, who won The Masked Singer in 2020.
Another name in the mix is honorary Aussie Chrishell Stause, who began her career on the US soaps All My Children and Days of Our Lives. Her calendar recently freed up when she announced in November that she was leaving the Netflix reality series Selling Sunset, and she also had a brief stint on Neighbours last year.
Our guess: Jackie Woodburne

While we didn’t get Woodburne, we got another star that was mentioned in the name game…
Welcome to the jungle, Rebekah Elmaloglou!

A Master Chef
The latest clue teases that this season will be “spicy” and “controversial” when a Master Chef enters the jungle, very much suggesting it’s someone from MasterChef Australia.
Former judge Melissa Leong recently competed on Channel 10’s The Amazing Race Australia, so she could be going for back-to-back reality TV stints on the network, seeing as she’s no longer hosting Dessert Masters. Other guesses on social media are original judges George Calombaris, Matt Preston or Gary Mehigan, as well as 2025 winner Laura Sharrad.
Our guess: Matt Preston

AFL A-Lister
The rumour mill is running wild after this clue teased an AFL A-Lister who is going to “have a ball” when he’s booted into the jungle. Given it’s a pretty vague description, fans have guessed Bernie Quinlan, Warwick Capper, David Rodan, David Zaharakis, Joe Daniher and Shaun Hampson, who is married to Megan Gale and previously competed on Australian Survivor.
Our guess: Shaun Hampson

But for this year’s round of jungle madness, our AFL A-Lister was revealed to be ex-Essendon player, Dyson Heppell.

Logie Winning Actor
This clue teased that a Logie Winning Actor is about to give his “wildest performance” in the jungle. The package also shows a Silver Logie caught in a spiderweb, with Julia saying she can “feel the drama and it’s buzzing in the air”.
Fans online have speculated this could be Hugh Sheridan, Lincoln Lewis or Samuel Johnson, who won both a Silver and Gold Logie in 2017 for his portrayal of Molly Meldrum in Molly.
Our guess: Samuel Johnson
In a sweet reveal, Gary Sweet is this year’s I’m A Celeb Logie Winning Actor of the cast!

Radio Queen
For this golden clue, the package mentions that this celeb “will make waves in the jungle”. With waves and radio queen in mind, one fan suggested Leisel Jones — Olympic Gold Medalist and Triple M Golden Breakfast co-host — could be heading into South Africa for some brutal tucker trials. Others have guessed Jackie “O” Henderson, Kate Ritchie and Fifi Box.
Our guess: Leisel Jones
However, in a delectable twist, I’m A Celeb‘s “Radio Queen” is Triple J’s Concetta Caristo!

Jungle Princess
A jungle princess is coming back to our screens in 2026, with a cheeky monkey asking: “will she have as much fun the second time around?”
Co-host Julia Morris saying “the only likes they’ll be getting are from the leeches” has me thinking it could be former I’m A Celeb winner and socials queen Abbie Chatfield. In fact, Chatfield recently spoke about being keen to come back to I’m A Celeb land on an October episode of her podcast, It’s A Lot.
“[The show is] the fucking tits. There have been rumours in Australia of an All-Stars edition. I would do it. Please let us do it!” she said with guest Max Balegde. “Come on, All Stars, it would be so much fun.”
Our guess: Abbie Chatfield
While we’d love to see Chatfield make a comeback, our Jungle Princess is actually Mia Fevola, the daughter of season two winner, Brendan Fevola!

Stand-Up Star
This clue teased that a stand-up star will have the “jungle in stitches”, so which comedian is heading into the jungle? Fans have guessed Channel 10 regulars Tommy Little, Luke McGregor and Sam Pang, as well as Nath Valvo.
Our guess: Nath Valvo
Again… our crystal ball is clear AF!!! Nath Valvo has officially entered the jungle!

’90s Pop Star
In this clue package, a meerkat donning some golden headphones says this incoming celeb will “have a bumper of a time”. Honing in on the “bumper” mention, one fan reckons this clue relates to the Spice Girls’ track “Bumper to Bumper”.
“I’d guess Emma/Baby or Mel C/Sporty,” one fan wrote. This might not be too far off, seeing as Mel C has been spending plenty of time Down Under and recently performed at ABC’s New Year’s Eve event in Sydney Harbour.
Other names that have been thrown into the ring include Vanessa Amorosi, Natalie Imbruglia and former Real Housewives of Sydney star Melissa Tkautz.
Our guess: Melissa Tkautz

Although our prediction was wrong, we still had a gorgeous, gorgeous surprise. Our ’90s Pop Star is… Deni Hines!

Who is hosting I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Australia in 2026?
If you thought you’d be able to get over your crush on Robert Irwin following his headline-making stint on Dancing With The Stars, the wildlife warrior is returning to screens this year as the host of I’m A Celebrity. He will be joined by longtime co-host Julia Morris, who has been a part of the show since it first premiered.
The first trailer for the new season dropped in November with Robert and Julia showing off their dance moves and singing a cover of Alicia Bridges’ “I Love the Nightlife”, aptly retitled “We Love The Wildlife”.
Where is I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Australia being filmed?
Apart from two seasons filmed on home soil during the pandemic, the Australian version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has, for the majority of its run, been filmed in South Africa. This year’s season is no different, with the celebs once again calling Kruger National Park home.
What is different, however, is the fact that the series has been pre-recorded. While I’m A Celebrity has become known for its live shows and eliminations, this season was filmed in late November and wrapped just before Christmas.
“It’s a bubble,” a production insider told Woman’s Day. “Phones are gone, they’re under strict contracts and they’re surrounded by a crew that can swell to several hundred people when you include camera operators, medics and security.
“Once you’re in, you’re in until production lets you go.”
The publication also reported that three alternate endings were filmed with each of the three finalists to prevent spoilers from leaking — although we’ll be sure to keep an eye on betting odds to see how well this secret is kept.
The Australian public will ultimately still hold the power to determine a winner in the finale, with the King or Queen of the Jungle walking away with $100,000 for their chosen charity.

When does I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Australia 2026 premiere?
Mark it in your calendars, the 12th season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia will premiere on 10 on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
But as we wait for that to drop, you can watch all of the previous seasons on 10 (or just keep re-watching Robert’s Dancing With The Stars performances).
