Marcelo Saracchi has insisted he loved his loan spell at Celtic, but revealed their rotation policy with Kieran Tierney cost him his World Cup place with Uruguay.

The full back signed for Houston Dynamo earlier this month after a successful loan spell at Parkhead where he helped Martin O'Neill's side win the double.
