Many have speculated that Donald Trump would soon tire of Elon Musk after the world’s richest man helped pave his way to victory. But the US President was full of praise for his unelected lieutenant when the two sat down for an unorthodox interview with Fox News.
“I couldn’t find anyone smarter,” the President said of his search for someone to lead the swinging cuts to America’s federal government. Together they have frozen all US aid money delivering life-saving overseas projects and fired thousands of US government workers. Musk has set his sights on overhauling “American weapons programs”, while drafting in a team from his company Space X to overhaul US air traffic control systems... after a bunch of federal aviation safety experts got the boot.
