'I know nothing' - Europa League rival boss responds to Clement's Rangers struggles

FCSB boss Elias Charalambous stressed under-pressure Philippe Clement's problems are of no interest to him.

But he insists there's no chance they will underestimate Rangers for this week's Europa League showdown.

Rangers were heavily criticised after blowing their chance to close the gap at the top of the Premiership to Celtic and Aberdeen after a timid 1-0 defeat at Kilmarnock.

FCSB got the perfect boost for their trip to Scotland with a 2-0 derby win away at bitter rivals Dinamo Bucharest on Sunday.

"But we do know it will be a tough test in Europe.

"We know the quality of Rangers. They are a big club and it will be much different in Glasgow where they have home advantage.

"To win this game, we will have to play top quality football.

"Psychologically, this derby victory is important. European games are different though, especially with Rangers.

"At the moment, we have games every three days and that is actually helping us.

"When we go to Glasgow, we are going all out for victory. That's my only focus.

"But I am happy with the way the team are playing. I think the attitude and focus was good. The tactical instructions were followed and even when we were 1-0 up, we continued to press for another goal."
