Elias Kachunga is aiming to keep performing for Bolton Wanderers in a bid to earn a fresh deal for next season.
The forward has been at Wanderers since the start of last season, having joined the club on a free transfer following his release by Sheffield Wednesday. The 30-year-old has turned out 60 times and scored five goals since then.
Kachunga has made 19 appearances so far in all competitions this season for Bolton. But his two-year deal which he signed when he joined the club expires this summer.

He is one of 10 players whose deals run out at Wanderers in the summer of 2023. He is joined in becoming free agents as things stand with fellow forwards Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Amadou Bakayoko.
Central midfielders MJ Williams, Kieran Lee, George Thomason and Josh Sheehan are in the same situation. So is central defender Will Aimson, winger Lloyd Isgrove and goalkeeper Joel Dixon.
Former Huddersfield attacker Kachunga admits he has had a brilliant time with Wanderers and wants to continue putting in the performances. He says talks will happen in the months to come over his future, and has been in football long enough to know how fresh contracts can be earned.
Kachunga said: “I have been in the game long enough so I know how it works. If I produce good performances - and I feel right now I am really at the club. Everyone welcomed me last season with open arms and so far I have just had a brilliant time here.
"I just want to keep performing with the team and to help the team. I think so far this works really well and in the next months, we will speak and see what is coming out of it.”
