If you're anything like me, you'll find that storage is always an issue, and having more belongings than floor space often makes keeping your home tidy and organized a never-ending battle. This is especially the case if you have smaller items cluttering up the place.
I’ve always found that making use of vertical space can not only free up valuable room but is also a good way to showcase your items.
Luckily, I’ve found the ultimate (and eye-catching) storage hack in IKEA. The LUSTIGT wall shelf consists of five horizontal shelves that can be moved sideways.
Perfect for instantly freeing up space, this versatile wall unit is conveniently sized to hold numerous items in a single spot. Best of all, it just costs $10 — which makes it more value for money. Here’s why I’ll be adding one (or two) to my shopping cart right away.
Why I love the IKEA LUSTIGT Wall shelf

I’m a huge fan of maximizing space in my home, and this wall shelf is perfect. Not only is it practical and modern, but you can adjust the shelving sideways to accommodate both big and small items, unlike other units. It also comes with tiny removable ladders, which add a touch of unique character and charm. In fact, a playful way for kids to stay organized is by using the ladders to put their favorite toys on the shelves. They'll love it (and so will parents!).
Personally, I would use this wall shelf in my home office to display my accessories, above my dresser, or even inside a closet to organize those smaller items that tend to get shoved into a corner.
What's more, I might even purchase several of these to use throughout my house. Another idea I'm considering is painting the neutral birch plywood a vibrant color for the summer, so why stop at just one?
Plus, at just $10, these are a highly affordable and effective way to buy more space — making this a worthwhile investment for less.
