As Christmas is fast approaching millions of us up and down the country will be dusting off boxes of decorations from last year to get the place ready for the big day.
But one man has taken his Christmas decorating to an entirely new level as he has collected over 10,000 decorations over the years - even though his partner is not such a fan of the huge collection.
Geoff Stonebanks, 69, from Seaford, Sussex, has packed his two-bedroom bungalow full of different decorations including a whopping 32 Christmas trees, over 150 metres of tinsel and a massive 1,400 decorative ornaments.
However, Geoff's partner of 23 years, Mark Glassman, 58, isn't so pleased and is not happy with his bungalow being packed to the brim with various Christmas decorations.
Every November it takes Geoff over a week to unpack all 40 boxes and decorate the house with the collection that has ornaments dating right back to his childhood.
Geoff said: "By New Year's Day we've had enough as they've been up since December 1. I love Christmas, but my partner hates it, although he has to tolerate my decorations.
"It takes a week of full-time decoration to erect them all and the tree in the living room takes a day on its own."
Geoff's parents were the owners of a pub, The Dolphin, in Oxfordshire which he inherited after their retirement in 1987 and with this inheritance came all the decorations that Geoff would help his mum put up in the pub back in the day.
Since then he has kept adding to the collection with some decorations dating back 90 years and now has a vast array of items along with a whopping 8,000 fairly lights.
"My second passion is my garden, and a woman who reads my column actually sent me a box of decorations which she didn't need anymore to add to my collection," Geoff said.
Despite the eccentric Christmas collection, Geoff just wants a quiet Christmas this year with his 94-year-old mother, his partner and their Terrier Chester.
