I love the feel of sinking into down, but my allergies prevent me from using down bedding. Given my longing for something that I can’t have, I have tried many, many of the best duvet inserts and comforters, claiming to be great down alternatives. My common complaints are that they trap heat, feel less malleable after a few washes, and don’t feel like down.
