If you've ever watched the Kardashians or the Real Housewives and felt green with envy every time their glam squad just magically appears (I know I have), you'll want to get yourself down to the Trafford Centre pretty quickly. And before we get into it, yes I know it's not everybody's cup of tea. But some people really enjoy getting a makeover now and again - especially in today's current climate, so let's be kind.
Anyway, until June 5, there is a special Kylie Cosmetics stand in the Main Dome by Selfridges, where shoppers can head for a free make-up consultation, should they wish. The stand contains a plethora of cosmetic products from Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin, and is a make-up lovers dream.
I'm a big fan of Kylie Jenner's make-up, so I wanted to go along to find out if it's really as good in real life as it looks on her. I wasn't disappointed.

At the moment, the counter offers two different consultation services - eyes and lips. For full disclosure, I got a full face makeover for the purpose of this article, using my own foundation and concealer, but all of the eye and lip products used were from the Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin ranges. I also supplied my own lashes - which cost a quid on eBay.
I was met by my makeup Artist, Anna, who was an absolute BABE. Anna does make-up for editorial shoots and more classic beauty counter looks, and I felt in really safe hands with her. Before she started the make-over she asked what I wanted.
I explained that I was about to go to a hen-do in town, and wanted a striking look that would last all night - as I would be appearing in photos my friend, the bride, would want to keep for life. Anna and I settled on an orange smokey eye and a nude lip, complimented by a full-coverage foundation and contoured face. As Anna got to work, she took me through the products as she applied them.
We started with a base of Kylie Skin products, which made my skin feel fresh and hydrated. Then we moved on to the main event - the eyes.
My eyes probably took around 30 minutes, but to be honest, Anna and I were chatting away so much I completely lost track of time. Time flies when you're in glam.
While Anna was doing my eye make-up, several different people commented on how beautiful it looked, and one person exclaimed 'wow, it looks like a sunset'. Let me tell you - that did WONDERS for my self-confidence, which is low at the best of times.
Anna convinced me to try a smoky black liner on my bottom lid. I was hesitant at first, because it's not something I usually go for (I'm not a huge fan of my eyes), but gosh, I loved it. It was just the right balance of smokiness, and it made my grey-blue eyes pop.
My MUA finished off my eyes with my own lashes, which, as I've said, cost £2.99 for a pack of five on eBay. She then went on to my skin using my own foundation and concealer (I wear Charlotte Tilbury Perfect Skin, it's fab). Then contoured and added some highlight.
My brows didn't need much doing to them thanks to the brilliant Brows By Sarah, who previously microbladed them for me, so a quick fluff, and they were done. Then we went on to the lips, where Anna chose a Kylie lip kit in 'Kylie' and finished them with the Kendall gloss. Here's the finished look, with the help of a ring light:
