It's finally that time of year where it's socially acceptable to get into your PJs straight after work, and I'm so here for it.
With the cost of living crisis in full swing and bills going up and up, I've been after a pair of comfortable and warm pyjamas for a good couple of months now. The evenings are most certainly getting chillier, and I for one am trying my best not to put the heating on.
I'm a big fan of my Primark Oodie dupe, but I wanted to find something that I could sleep comfortably in on a cold evening. As much as I love my Oodie, there's a lot of material, and it can be quite difficult to manoeuvre once you're tucked up in bed.

I took a trip to my local Asda after hearing a lot of hype around its Christmas PJ selection, fully ready to get cosy. For me, there's nothing better than a nice pair of PJs and a good festive film on a wintery evening - but maybe I'm just boring!
I was actually really surprised with the sheer amount of Christmas pyjamas on offer. From cosy 'Sleigh All Day' lounge sets to fluffy owl pyjamas, there was a lot to choose from.
After a quick mooch, I noticed a gorgeous pair of teddy bear fleece PJs in a cosy beige colour. They looked incredibly thick, and featured a reindeer on the top with 'Santa's Helper' written across the front.
I'm not usually one for PJs with quotes on them, but there was something overly adorable about these ones, and I knew I had to get them. I didn't even need to try them on, because they were so soft to touch, and I knew they'd feel amazing on.
Though the £18 price tag seemed a little steep at the time, the sheer warmth they gave was unbelievable. I put them straight on when I got home and felt instantly cosy.
Put it this way, when I put them on, my over excitable dog jumped onto my lap and fell asleep, which says it all. My favourite thing about the PJs was the fleece material, and the trousers even had pockets which was a bonus too.
I got into bed wearing the pyjamas and it was honestly like lying on a cloud. Sometimes it can be really uncomfortable wearing thick PJs in bed, and although these felt a lot lighter, they were still really warming.
At first, I was a little conscious that the pyjamas might be itchy because of the teddy bear fleece material, but they were incredibly comfortable. Let's just say, I've been wearing them virtually every night, especially with the weather getting colder.
If you want some PJs that are soft, comfortable, and most of all warm, you need to get down to Asda ASAP before these sell out. I was really impressed with the quality and thickness, and will definitely be purchasing more pyjamas from Asda in the future.
Although these pyjamas aren't currently available online, hopefully you'll find a pair at your local store. Find your local Asda store here.
