'I dumped Britain's worst female bigamist because she cheated on me'

An ex partner of Britain's worst female bigamist - who had five husbands - says he ditched her after finding out she was cheating on him.

Wayne Harper, 43, had been in a relationship with Emily Horne for 18 months when he ended it.

The pair had met while they were both being treated at hospital - she was having a minor operation and he had been in a cycling accident.

At the time he described Emily as "good looking, slim, sexy and intelligent - what more could a man ask for?"

Emily had told him she was married to five men, but he said it was okay as long as she stayed loyal to him.

But after 18 months he dumped her. They never tied the knot.

Now, 13 years later, Wayne has spoken to The Sun to explain what happened.

He said: "I split up with her, it was my doing because I found out she was cheating on me.

"I was only with her for 18 months and it was not a happy ending. I have nothing left of her in my life, no pictures, nothing."

The former window fitter, who is currently single, said Emily moved in with him and his parents as she had nowhere to go after leaving hospital.

Wayne's dad Dennis Harper said: "Emily, who can forget her? We’re going back years but she lived here for about six months."

He described her as intelligent but odd at times and said she suffered from depression. He added that his son ended it because he discovered she was going out with other men.

Dennis said he had no idea why Emily kept marrying or where she was now.

She was the subject of a Channel 4 documentary, The Bigamist Bride: My Five Husbands, in 2009, the same year she and Wayne met.

She was first convicted of bigamy around 2004 and sentenced to six months in prison.

Emily received a further jail-term for bigamy in 2009 - this time ten months suspended for two years.

When Wayne and Emily went public with their relationship, Wayne told The Express and Star : "She's the girl for me. I was a bit shocked when she told me about being a bigamist who was married to five men but I am standing by her. She is slim, sexy and intelligent. What more could a man ask for?"

Emily also explained she'd been in adult movies, which Wayne said left him stunned, but didn't put him off.

Emily said at the time: "I told him that I had a past that would make him run but he accepted that everybody has a past. He is more than a boyfriend. He is my best friend and rock."

Emily was 18 when she married her first husband, Paul Rigby in 1996, but they went their separate ways after just three months.

Three years later and not divorced from Paul, she married Sean Cunningham, but soon dumped him for his friend Simon Thorpe, who had given her away at her and Sean's wedding.

The pair got engaged, but she went off and married two other men, Chris Barrett and James Matthews.

When Emily went to live with one of James's friends, James called the police and her bigamy was exposed and she was sentenced for the first time.

After serving her six month sentence in 2004 she married Ashley Baker, her fifth husband.

Not long after that she met an IT worker called Stuart Allen and the pair decided to wed.

But when Emily went away for a few days, Stuart found out she'd actually flown to America to marry policeman Fred Miller.

The relationship ended just a few days after their honeymoon and Emily returned to the UK.

In 2012 she "married" Craig Hadwin in a bogus ceremony in Scotland.

At one point she reportedly dressed up as Craig, even cropping her hair, so she could get hold of sleeping pills, which she was addicted to.

Emily changed her name by deed poll in 2010 and is understood to be known as Max Accastes Quiberon (or Quiberberon).
