I drove the Lucid Air Touring for a week — and it feels like a genuine supercar (with 400-mile range)

2026 Lucid Air Touring review.

When I first started testing EVs a few years ago, I fell in love with the value offered by the Lucid Air Pure without having to fork over a six-figure investment. Last year, I was even more impressed by the 2025 Lucid Air Touring, with its sharp driving performance and class-leading efficiency.

But the landscape has changed dramatically in the year since I drove that luxury sedan. Stronger competition has narrowed the gap, meaning the 2026 Lucid Air Touring can’t afford to come up short — especially after I’ve tested marquee rivals like the BMW i7, Porsche Taycan, and Audi A6 Sportback e-tron.
