‘I don’t know what it is’: Woman on late night dog walk notices figure standing in the bushes, then it starts running her way

A woman on TikTok shared her terrifying experience of being chased by a “Jeff the killer wanna-be.” The scary viral video shows a woman walking her dog in a dark park, she stops after noticing a figure standing in the bushes and before she can figure out what she’s looking at the crazed individual darts out of the bushes and runs full speed towards her.

The video posted by “@natsawuclfx” begins with the camera pointed at the treeline just off to the side of a park path covered in mist. It’s dark although there are streetlamps giving enough light to see. Emerging from the treeline a figure who appears to be dressed in a white hoody, possible mask, and dark pants is standing perfectly still and facing towards the woman recording.

The woman can be heard saying, “I’m on a walk with my dog, he just stopped walking, I don’t know what the f— that is,” as she points towards the mysterious figure. While there could be a reasonable explanation, it’s more likely than not that a person hiding in the trees in the dark is up to no good. The woman also wisely decides to back away while still facing the figure and as she does the individual she’s trying to escape breaks out into a run. The woman turns to flee while screaming before the video cuts abruptly.

People on TikTok are concerned

Naturally, those who viewed the video expressed their concern for the woman who posted, “Girl are you alive??!” asked one, “this better be a joke omggg” added a second. Meanwhile, a third quipped, “Why is Jeff the killer after you[?]” as a reference to the iconic Creepypasta villain.

The woman did respond to the several comments to assure viewers she was alive, responding, “Hello! I am here! This is me! I’m alive! Very much me!” Responding to another comment she also confirmed that the video was not a joke and claimed that she still doesn’t know who it was that was chasing her.

Posting a storytime a couple of days later natsawuclfx provided more context, explaining that her sister needed to drop something off in the area. While the sister did that, she decided to take the dog for a walk around the park district, it was then that she bumped into the creepy guy. Luckily she was able to run back to her sister whom she rushed back to the car for fear that the man was still out there.

Natsawuclfx claimed that she would not be taking solo night walks in the future and joked about bringing a weapon along with her next time, but a few viewers sympathized and lamented the reality that many places are simply unsafe for women to walk alone at night. Others also advised that she file a police report.
