Robbie Fowler is fearful Liverpool may lack squad depth if they don't make more additions in the summer transfer window. The Reds have signed three players with Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay being added to the squad.
Liverpool, however, have waved goodbye to Divock Origi, Takumi Minamino and Sadio Mane in the early stages of the window. With interest in Aurelien Tchouameni before he sealed a move to Real Madrid, it is clear the Reds would be keen on signing a midfielder.
All incomings are said to be done at Anfield for this summer as the Reds wait on key target Jude Bellingham to be available next summer from Borussia Dortmund, but the 19-year-old could cost a hefty £100 million.
