Now he gets to add Green Lantern and the newest addition to DC's upcoming project slate to his résumé, and apparently slipping on Hal Jordan’s superhero suit has given the normally low-key actor a dangerous amount of confidence, enough confidence, in fact, to start talking trash about Batman.
While speaking with Variety at San Diego Comic-Con about HBO’s upcoming Lanterns, Chandler was asked what it was like finally wearing Hal Jordan’s superhero suit. The Friday Night Lights star clearly loved it. He loved it enough, in fact, to declare victory over Batman before nervously checking whether the Dark Knight was standing nearby. He joked:
