Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe is confident that the Magpies will have the squad they desire by the time the window closes on September 1.
The Toon head coach guided his team to a fine 2-0 win over newly promoted Nottingham Forest to start the season in style. But the question of recruitment is still on the lips of many fans.
With Howe having to trim down the squad to 25 players at the end of the month there is also the enforced need to move players on. When asked about that prospect, Howe said: "I’m not aware that anything has changed on that front, and I don’t anticipate that to be the case because everyone has been concentrating on the games, and rightly so.

"I don’t think today changes anything from my view. My squad is an excellent squad of players."
And should United add more new faces to the squad, that will almost certainly mean further exits after the likes of Freddie Woodman, Isaac Hayden, Ciaran Clark and Dwight Gayle.
Howe said: "I love the individuals we have, but I’d like to add some more quality to that if possible."
