NEW DELHI: Nathan McSweeney remains optimistic about potentially succeeding Usman Khawaja in Australia's Test team, despite being dropped from the squad.
McSweeney's initial Test experience came as an opener during the first three matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India. As Australia contemplates David Warner's replacement, they may soon need to address Khawaja's succession as well.
