If you're a parent, you'll know how difficult it can be to travel with your children and keep them entertained for hours on end when they're expected to sit still in a plane seat or on a train.
And while it can be tiring for you as a mum or dad, unruly kids on public transport can also cause headaches for other passengers - especially if the youngster is prone to shouting or screaming, which can disturb other people's journeys.
But one woman has split opinion after she recently got on a flight with a mum and her young son who began "stomping and screaming", as she stepped in to tell the mum she should "watch her child" and tell him to sit down.

The mum told the woman, from the US, to "mind her own business" and not tell her how to parent her child, but the woman stands by her decision as the boy was ruining her otherwise peaceful flight.
In a post on Reddit, the woman said: "I was flying on a plane from Texas to LA for a job and was sitting next to this mum in her late 20s with a child who looked to be about 3-4 years old. The mum sat at the window seat, her child in the middle, and I was sitting on the edge.
"About 20 minutes into the flight her child started standing up on the seat and stomping while mildly screaming. All this while the mum's nose was in her phone the whole time. I tried to make eye contact with her as a way to inform her that her child is not behaving, and she refused to look up from her phone.
"I thought maybe after like 10 minutes the child would get tired and sit, but lo and behold, the child didn't. I tapped the mum on her shoulder and told her that she should watch her child and tell him to sit down. She gave me a dirty look and told me to mind my own business."
Commenters on the post were mostly on the woman's side, as many of them said that while they sympathise with the mum, they also believed she should have done more to try and get her child to settle down.
One person said: "I feel for the parents that are trying to calm down their kid but I have no time for someone playing on the phone rather than trying to calm a kid down."
While another added: "I don't get involved. I would have just called the flight attendant to deal with it."
And a third wrote: "I have a three-year-old and that's just not acceptable. Not to mention, if you hit turbulence that kid is going to get a head injury."
