A 27-year-old mother from Bremerton, Washington, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault of a child after her 8-week-old daughter was hospitalized with severe injuries. Court documents revealed disturbing Facebook messages in which the mother, Shannon McNease, expressed violent thoughts toward her baby.
