Amanda Holden was left licking her wounds after being on the receiving end of a brutal dig from I Can See Your Voice co-star Jimmy Carr as the BBC show returned on Saturday night, with the insult having host Paddy McGuinness shaking his head in disbelief.
After proving to be a big it around the world, I Can See Your Voice has now become a real guilty pleasure for British TV audiences as Amanda and fellow panellists Jimmy and Alison Hammond have to help contestants to try and work out if the singers in front of them are actually good, or miming along to a much better singer, because they're actually terrible.
The show has been a real ratings winner for the BBC with its first two series and was back for more this weekend, airing after Strictly Come Dancing and Blankety Blank. The latest episode of the show saw Amanda, Jimmy and Alison joined by guest star Tony Hadley, with the Spandau Ballet legend trying to figure out the bad singers from the good, before duetting with one of them at the end.

One of the singers up for speculation this week was 'No Scrubs' a young woman dressed as a doctor. Tony said he thought she was a real singer due to the way she moved her mouth, before Amanda mused: "She's a student, universities have theatre groups, after college they go out and sing for entertainment. I reckon she's not necessarily..." before Jimmy interrupted to quip: "How does Amanda know? She hasn't got a GCSE!"
As startled 'ooohs' went out around the studio, the contestant playing the game leapt to Amanda's defence, saying: "She's an amazing singer though!" And, quick to pick up on Jimmy's dig, a BBC viewer at home tweeted: "Amanda hasn't got a single GCSE!' brutal."
