Bruno Guimaraes is laying down the foundations for a happy successful life with Newcastle United - with the midfielder's pet dogs being flown in by private jet this week. The Brazil international is back in South America for Seleção's World Cup fixtures against Chile and Bolivia.
But he has been speaking to Globo about his ambitions on Tyneside and how much he is loving his time as a Newcastle player so far. The midfielder spoke of Newcastle becoming a world force when he signed back in January - despite the club then embroiled in a relegation battle.
Giving his reflections on his £33.5million move from Lyon so far, he said: "It was a risk, but I also believe in the project. The fans are passionate about the team, it's too different.

"We reinforced each other well. Next season I believe it will strengthen very well to seek, who knows, a spot in the Champions League, in the Europa League. From now on, it's a team to compete for to be champions of the Premier League. I believe a lot in the project and I hope that everything works out as it was passed on to me."
Bruno is aiming to be a legend at Newcastle and cited the roles of some of the stars at Manchester City after the North-West club's takeover. Bruno said: "Taking the example of Manchester City, Agüero, Yaya Touré and David Silva were all names consecrated in the history of the club because they believed in the project from the beginning. Here I cam in with Kieran Trippier, who left Atletico Madrid as champions to be here.
"The fans are passionate about me, which is something I didn't even have at Atlético Paranaense where I was an idol and won one of the main titles in the club's history."
And speaking about his relationship with the Newcastle supporters, Bruno said: "The fans here have already made music for me shirts with my photo on too. If I give a backward pass, it's "Bruno! Bruno! Bruno!"
"When I scored, the guys wanted to invade the field. It's been too cool, I'm enjoying it too much here."
Bruno was also asked about his whirlwind move from Lyon to Newcastle, a deal that caught long-term admirers Arsenal completely cold. He said: "It was all very fast. In four, five days we solved everything. I had little time. I never hid my desire to play in the Premier League. It has always been my dream and my goal."
