I Am Completely Obsessed With The Heals X Lottie Day Collection, And These Illustrated Napkins Are The Perfect Christmas Gift For Everyone On My List

Napkins and tablerunners.

I’ve become genuinely taken with the new collaboration between Heal’s and Norfolk-based illustrator Lottie Day. Together they’ve created a beautifully crafted range of screen-printed tableware, and the illustrated napkins have instantly become my favourite Christmas gift idea this year. They’re charming without being overly sweet, and the variety of motifs means I can choose something that truly suits each person on my list.

They’ve also sparked fresh inspiration for my own tablescaping. Each print adds a small but meaningful touch of personality, whether I’m setting the table for a simple supper or planning for the festive season. It’s the sort of detail that quietly elevates a table setting and makes the whole scene feel more thoughtful.

What I appreciate most is how personal the gifting element feels. The Heals x Lottie Day collection offers a range of illustrations to suit different tastes, making it easy to pick something that reflects the recipient’s interests. It’s a simple idea executed beautifully, and exactly the kind of present people remember because it feels so considered. Here are my favourites from the collection.

Lottie Day designs and produces a range of screen-printed textile products for the home, each featuring her original illustrations inspired by her home county of Norfolk. The style has a distinctly British feel, with a wholesome charm that celebrates the natural world, everyday life, and the beauty of the seasons. She has recently teamed up with Heal’s to create a delightful collection of tableware and textiles, and the timing could not be better, as many of these pieces are currently reduced during Heal’s Black Friday event with 15% off everything. It is a rare chance to pick up something beautifully designed, practical, and characterful at a little less than usual.

If you want a gift that feels thoughtful but effortless, this collection is a brilliant choice for gifts for the home cook who has everything. The designs are charming and distinctive, making them stand out without feeling over the top, and they also work beautifully as gifts for tabletops, adding personality to everyday dining. I love that even small items from the collection feel special, making them perfect for popping into a larger gift or giving on their own to brighten someone’s kitchen or dining room

What I love most about the Heal’s x Lottie Day collection is the craftsmanship behind every piece. These aren’t mass-produced products churned out in a factory, but screen-printed with real skill and attention to detail. Each napkin and runner carries a subtle imprint of the maker’s hand, which makes them feel genuinely special to give or to use. In a world full of mass-made goods, there’s something quietly luxurious about owning something created with such care and intention.
