A woman looking for love has described how she made a PowerPoint presentation for her Tinder profile and now receives up to “four super likes in a day.”
Victoria Voos, 31, says she added the slideshow to her dating profile in an effort to “find the one.” She said she created the presentation in under half an hour after taking inspiration from another singleton.
Her presentation highlights some of her favourite things, facts about her and the reasons why guys should date her. The first slide includes a photo of herself with the title ‘five reasons why you should swipe right’, which include her witty humour, love of “boujee things” and being the owner of a cute dog.
Since uploading the slides to the dating app earlier this month, Victoria says she has been inundated with messages, describing them as “a great conversation starter.” She said: “I’ve had up to four super likes in a day since putting it up.
“I think people appreciate the effort. I just hope it catches the attention of the good guys.”
Victoria says before adding the slides to her profile she usually received three to four super likes a year. She hopes the innovative idea will help her bag Mister Right, and has even created a template which her friends have started using in their romantic endeavours.
Victoria, a social media manager and content creator from San Diego, California, said she often struggles in the dating world because she is “plus sized” and “not everyone’s cup of tea.” She added: “It’s hard finding someone who doesn’t just want to get laid by someone larger or is fatphobic.
“We can’t control the options out there but hopefully my profile will help me catch the right ones. I’ve had messages saying they love my PowerPoint and that it’s very professional and creative.”
Victoria’s imaginative slideshow appears to have done the trick, as she has had “lots of conversations” since adding it to her profile and even has a date planned. She continued: “My advice to others when making a profile is that they include lots of interests about themselves because that will help them find the right fit.
“I’m comfortable in having high standards for myself to help catch the right one. Hopefully my new PowerPoint style profile will help me find the one.”
