Hyundai recalls 54,000 Elantra Hybrids in America over overheating fire risk

Hyundai is recalling 54,337 vehicles in the U.S. over a fire risk linked to the overheating of their hybrid power control unit, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced on Wednesday.

The recall specifically targets certain 2024-2026 Elantra Hybrid models.
