HYDERABAD: Even as quarterly housing sales hit all-time high levels (since 2015) across the top seven cities of the country during the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, Hyderabad has topped the charts not just in residential property sales growth, but also new residential supply and price hike, according to real estate consultancy firm Anarock Research.
While housing property sales in the top seven cities rose 71% to 99,550 units in Q1 2022 as compared to the 58,290 units that were sold in Q1 2021, Hyderabad emerged on top as the city with the highest percentage growth of 199% with 13,140 units being sold during Q1 2022 as compared to 4,400 units in Q1 2021.
