In a major push to strengthen India’s domestic renewable energy supply chain, HVR Solar Ltd has announced the signing of multiple strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to establish a massive 1.2 gigawatt (GW) TOPCon solar cell manufacturing line. The agreements were reportedly formalised during the SNEC PV Power Expo 2026 held in Shanghai.
The cell facility, which will be located in the Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh, is positioned to become a critical node in India's rapidly expanding clean energy infrastructure. By securing these global alliances, HVR Solar Ltd is accelerating its transition from a prominent module manufacturer to a fully integrated solar solutions powerhouse.
