Much-loved BBC newsreader Huw Edwards has blown fans away following his rush to shed weight in time for the King Charles' Coronation. The news presenter was on air for the coverage of the historic event.
And many fans were quick to notice he took a swipe at former Prime Minister Liz Truss during BBC's Coronation coverage when talking about who was arriving at Westminster Abbey for King Charles III's Coronation
Huw made a cheeky comment about Liz when she arrived to the event, the Mirror reports. He said: "And then Prime Minister for a very brief period, Liz Truss with her husband Hugh O’Leary."

Viewers of the programme found the comment amusing, with one saying: "Just brilliant."
Huw previously admitted that he was on a race against time to lose weight ahead of King Charles' Coronation, but it's not the first time he's wowed fans with an impressive fitness regime.
Speaking ahead of the monumental ceremony, the presenter, 61, told The Mirror: "I am going to have to lose a stone no question. I am just a bit too tight around the waist." He added: "So maybe my boxing workouts will now have to go up to two a week… I am now down to one a week, as well as one run a week."
The much-loved news presenter shed three stone in 2019 following a diet and exercise blitz.
His simple yet successful workout routine left many feeling inspired. He previously kept fans up to date with his fitness progress on his Instagram account, training with ex-boxer Clinton McKenzie, as well as doing TRX.
