Hurricane Ian sees 'substantial lost of life' and could be 'deadliest' in Florida

Joe Biden has declared Hurricane Ian may have resulted in "substantial loss of life".

The US President said the storm continues to move across Florida and is possibly the deadliest the state has ever seen.

Speaking at the FEMA headquarters in Washington DC on Thursday afternoon, he said he could, however, only go off early reports as "the numbers remain unclear".
