Hurricane Helene Claims Over 100 Lives, Devastating Communities

As Hurricane Helene continues to wreak havoc across several states, the death toll has tragically surpassed 100 individuals. The latest update from official sources on Monday morning confirmed that at least 102 people have lost their lives due to the destructive storm.

The impact of Hurricane Helene has been particularly devastating in North Carolina, where 42 fatalities have been reported, making it the state with the highest death toll. Among the recent casualties are five individuals from Henderson County and a sheriff’s deputy from Macon County.
