
As of the latest update from the National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Beryl has slightly weakened to a strong Category 2 hurricane with sustained winds of 110 mph. The storm is currently positioned 40 miles east of the popular resort town of Tulum and is expected to make landfall over Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula within the next few hours.
The National Hurricane Center has issued warnings for the area, stating that hurricane conditions are anticipated in the region later this morning. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions as winds are expected to reach tropical storm strength imminently, making outdoor preparations challenging and potentially hazardous.
