As Beryl continues to wreak havoc in Texas, the Category 1 hurricane has sustained winds of 80 mph, remaining at the same strength two hours after making landfall. The storm is unleashing damaging winds, torrential rainfall, and life-threatening storm surge in the region.
The hurricane's center is currently located approximately 55 miles south-southwest of Houston and is moving north at a speed of 12 mph.
