Robert Pfeifer, an American celebrating his 25th wedding anniversary at a resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, recently experienced the impact of Hurricane Beryl firsthand. Pfeifer described the storm as coming in with intense force, bringing heavy winds and rain that caused several trees to fall at the Sandals resort where he and his wife were staying.
Despite the challenging conditions, resort personnel took proactive measures by boarding up windows and ensuring guests had access to extra food and water. Pfeifer expressed gratitude for the safety measures in place, stating that they felt secure within the resort premises.
