Jamaica's Prime Minister confirmed in an interview that two deaths have been reported in the country as a result of Hurricane Beryl. This unfortunate news adds to the growing death toll, which now stands at nine due to the devastating impact of the hurricane.
Aside from the fatalities in Jamaica, other countries in the region have also suffered losses. Venezuela has reported at least three deaths, while Grenada and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have each recorded three and one fatality, respectively.
