Video footage has captured a mass brawl which broke out during a hurling match involving dozens of people.
The clip of the melee was filmed from the sideline during a Limerick club match between Ballybrown and Garyspillane earlier this week.
All appears to be normal at the beginning of the clip as players competed for the sliotar on the ground until two players tackle each other to the ground and over the sideline.
As the two players stand up, one voice can be heard shouting: "leave it leave it."
Those two players eventually stand up and attempt to return to the pitch which is when a member of the Garryspillane backroom team threw the hurl of the Ballybrown player over the fence.
The Garryspillane member of staff was shoved to the ground and then players and substitutes from both sides escalated the situation into an all out brawl.
As players and staff rush in, the referee struggles to maintain any sort of control over the situation.
Some people are seen trying to restrain others from jumping in.
The brawl lasts for around 45 seconds before both sets of players and staff regain their composure.
This is the latest in a string of on-field clashes that have hit GAA in recent times.
Earlier this month a referee was allegedly assaulted during a match in Roscommon.
A GAA investigation is ongoing after ref Naughton was allegedly assaulted and left needing medical attention as he presided over the under-17 St Aidan’s versus St Dominic’s tie at Ballyforan.
