Credit cards similar to Huntington Cashback Credit Card

The Huntington® Cashback Credit Card isn’t the only 1.5% cash back card on the market: Both the Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card and Chase Freedom Unlimited® cards are flat-rate cash back cards with no annual fee.

Capital One Quicksilver vs. Huntington Cashback Credit Card

Unlike the Huntington® Cashback Credit Card, the provides cardholders the upfront benefit of a one-time $200 after spending $500 in the first 3 months of account opening.

Even though Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card cardholders earn cash rewards, they can redeem them in various ways, like buying merchandise and gift cards, receiving a statement credit, paying for purchases on Amazon.com, or booking hotel stays or flights on Capital One Travel. So, if you’re looking for a cashback card option that enables you to use your rewards more widely, the Quicksilver is a good bet.

The Quicksilver card could also be a better option for cardholders planning to purchase a big-ticket item, like an exercise bike or furniture, and need longer to pay it off, as cardholders get a 0% intro APR for 15 months on purchases and balance transfers (19.99%–29.99% variable APR after that).

Chase Freedom Unlimited vs. Huntington Cashback Credit Card

Though the Freedom Unlimited provides unlimited 1.5% cash back on all eligible purchases, cardholders also earn a higher rewards rate: 3% cash back on dining (including takeout and eligible delivery service), 3% cash back on drugstore purchases and 5% cash back on travel purchased through Chase Ultimate Rewards.

Plus, new card members are eligible for a $200 bonus after you spend $500 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.

The Freedom card also offers 5% cash back on combined gas station & grocery store purchases (not including Target or Walmart) on up to $12,000 spent in the first year (whichever occurs first). So that’s an additional 3.5% in cash back rewards on top of the 1.5% cash back rewards earned on each purchase you make with the card.
