Hunter has revealed a collaboration with Ganni that brings the Danish brand’s joyful style to Hunter’s wet weather-ready heritage design. It isn’t the first time the Copenhagen designer has worked with British legacy brands – the Ganni stamp on Barbour’s classic wax jackets and quilted coats instantly comes to mind. This time though, you can expect a capsule that is made for the countryside as much as it is for the city.
Launched today (14 September), the collaboration includes three waterproof ponchos, rain hats, a protective poncho cover for the Ganni bou bag, tall and Chelsea-style Wellington boots, and an umbrella. Bringing some sunshine to gloomy days, the core colourways are bright yellow, shades of khaki, and, of course, Ganni’s signature leopard print.
“Hunter is such an iconic British brand, and bringing its legacy together with Ganni’s Copenhagen perspective feels like a very exciting conversation between two worlds,” said Ganni’s creative director, Ditte Reffstrup. “I love the idea that the most practical pieces can also be the most expressive.”
Known for its practical, high quality outwear made for the British weather, the 170-year-old heritage brand Hunter has cemented its place as a sought-after label beyond with the likes of Alex Chung, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Olivia Rodgigo following in Kate Moss’s footsteps in choosing the wellies for festival, in particular Glastonbury, style.
The collaboration brings another imagination to the Hunter’s designs as it merges its technical weatherproof materials with playful proportions and bold colours. As it goes live on the Ganni website, this is what to shop.

Hunter x Ganni water resistant bag poncho
The most affordable piece from the collection, the water resistant bag poncho is a cover specifically created for the Ganni bou bag, so the usability is a little limited. While I can’t be sure, if you have a mini bag with similar sized curved handles, it might work for you.
Regardless, the cover is undeniably cool with a splash of leopard print, khaki trims and a Ganni x Hunter logo.
