Hunter Biden Defends Business Dealings In Congressional Testimony

House gop Hunter Biden to face gun charges in Wilmington court

During his recent congressional testimony, Hunter Biden faced questions regarding $3 million received from a Chinese energy firm that was wired into a business interest he was involved with. Hunter defended the transaction, stating that his business dealings with CEFC were legitimate and conducted when his father was not in office, emphasizing that it was unrelated to his father's role.

Addressing allegations that his father, President Joe Biden, may have benefited from his business activities, Hunter asserted that his father never derived any financial or other advantages from his ventures. He denied claims made by former business associates that his father was involved in business meetings or luncheons, explaining that casual interactions, such as having lunch together in New York City, were not indicative of business involvement.

The transcript of Hunter's deposition spans 229 pages, with certain sections redacted for confidentiality. Hunter's attorney, Abby Lowell, has expressed reservations about having Hunter testify publicly, despite previous statements indicating a willingness to do so.
