One of Hunter Biden's former business associates, whose identity remains undisclosed, is set to participate in a closed-door interview with House oversight investigators today in relation to the ongoing impeachment inquiry. The associate, referred to as Mervin Yan, is a Chinese businessman who reportedly had ties to Hunter Biden through the Chinese energy company CFC.
According to investigators, the CFC allegedly funneled money through several shell companies in which Hunter Biden had involvement. Furthermore, the Chinese firm is said to have connections to the Chinese Communist Party and is accused of providing financial support to the Biden family. These allegations have garnered significant attention and are now key elements being investigated as part of the impeachment proceedings.
