Police have launched a hunt for a wanted man who assaulted a police officer and escaped from lawful custody.
Darren Dixon assaulted a police officer and ran away while being detained at around 11.10am on Saturday in the Swanscombe Street area of Kent, Kent Police said.
The 43-year-old man had been arrested as officers responded to a report that a woman had been assaulted that morning.
Officers said Dixon was believed to have links to the Dartford and south London areas.
Anyone with information on Dixon’s whereabouts is being asked to urgently call 999 quoting Most Wanted and reference 19-536.
