Hunt for fire thugs who tried to burn down business premises in Kirkintilloch

Police are appealing for information after a fire was started deliberately at a business premises in Eastside, Kirkintilloch.

The incident happened around 11.45pm on Friday, January 14. No one was injured and the fire was put out by The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Detective Sergeant Jas Juttla said: “This fire is being treated as wilful. Fortunately no one was injured but the premises was damaged.
