Police are appealing for information following a serious assault in Clydebank.
The attack happened around 7.30pm on Thursday (February 10) in the Hawthorn Street area.
A 38-year-old man was walking along Hawthorn Street towards the library when he was approached by a group of male youths. He sustained a serious arm injury and is being treated in hospital.
Detective Constable Imran Abuzar, of Clydebank CID, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have seen what happened or now those involved to get in touch.

“If you have private CCTV or where driving in the area at the time and have dash-cam footage that might help with our investigation then please call us.”
